For the past two years I have struggled with depression and an anxiety disorder. I honestly thought that I would never live to see graduation, and then my 18th birthday. However, I found some inner strength, and I am so incredibly happy and thankful that I did. “I’m okay” is my mantra, the armor for my internal and external battles. This tattoo reminds me of all I have been through, and all that I will go through. It helps give me that extra boost to make it through my day and enjoy life. And you know what? I am okay.
